How does Edmonton's Modern architecture fit into the heritage landscape and contribute to the city building conversation? This forum brings architects and heritage professionals together to discuss Modern architectural history in Edmonton. Join Tai Ziola (Dialog Partner and Architect) who will moderate a panel consisting of Sydney Gross (Principal Heritage Planner), Greg Whistance-Smith (Architect and Historical Researcher), and Dan Rose (Heritage Advocate) to talk about all things architecturally Modern in Edmonton.

The panelists will discuss new tools to assess Modern architecture, strategies to encourage rehabilitation over demolition, and enhancing the preservation culture in Edmonton. Attendees can expect to learn about Modern architectural history in Edmonton, our greatest Modern examples, and new initiatives to protect resources as they become eligible for heritage designation.
