About the show and artist:

"Liminal" - the space inbetween, this is where the truth lies, where the detritus gathers to tell the story between the lines, between the road and the curb, the sofa and cushions, between marriages, relationships, jobs, and deaths. Between is rife. This liminal space pulses with energy, full to overflowing with 'now what' or 'now where'?

Jim's work aims to invite introspection and inspire a deeper understanding of the transient moments that shape our lives encouraging viewers to reflect on their own experiences of transition and transformation.

"I am in a liminial time, in life and then of course in studio, in my work - it has been an influence which is not overt but inevitable."

Jim Macgregor is an abstract artist creating with a colour palette that is intricate, yet quiet and calm, reflective of his own introspective, gentle and curious personality. His focus is minimal abstraction. For Jim, Art=Grace - painting is a graceful devotion.
